Browns Select Running Back Dylan Sampson with 126th Overall Pick
Consider the running back room transformed with these new faces.

There was some belief the Browns would re-write their running back room with multiple selections in this draft and that is the route they chose. The Browns went with Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson with the 126th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and confirmed the belief they wanted to get more dynamic in the room and get a youth resurgence in the ground attack.
While Sampson doesn’t have a big frame, he does have ample size for the play-style and will bring a different speed-based approach to the role to compliment Quinshon Judkins.
Sampson is an early age track star who turned back to football in high school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He ran for 4,927 yards in those years and was one of the state’s top high school sprinters and had personal bests of 10.62 seconds in the 100 meters, 21.57 in the 200 and 6.90 in the 60 indoor all while carrying a 4.0 GPA. He was a three-star recruit who chose the Vols over other SEC offers.
