Saturday Prospect Spotlight: Chris Bell Can Provide Answers at Wide Receiver
Lousiville product brings a diverse skill-set with the right projected draft slot.

We’re somehow in Week 13 of the college football season and the biggest prospects are starting to clear up for the 2026 NFL Draft. We’ve made our way through plenty of quarterbacks, offensive tackles; and wide receivers but there are a few emerging names we need to make sure to discuss. The slate today doesn’t have many big games across the board but we do get and old school former conference matchups at new places. The B1G features an old PAC12 matchup with USC and Oregon and then the SEC has a former Big XII matchup with Missouri heading to Oklahoma. So, enjoy that nostalgia. It’s a lighter week otherwise.
Reminder: The Browns have TWO first round picks coming in this year's NFL Draft, each Saturday we will highlight a player worth watching with the Browns’ prospect preferences in mind! Obviously we will focus on the highest-ranked prospects this year because the Browns could have a wide range of outcomes for their pick, but we will expand beyond that scope at times.
It will be impossible to think about the 2026 Cleveland Browns without thinking about who their next quarterback selection could be so that will be a consistent theme of these spotlights throughout the year, but I promise we will branch out in other ways as well.
I thought for today’s focus, we could discuss the receiver threatening the first round the Browns could look to snag at with their Jaguars pick or if they want to flirt with fate they could try using their early second rounder. Chris Bell out of Lousiville will be a very intriguing prospect this cycle and the name we focus on today.

History
Bell grew up in Yazoo City, Mississippi and attended Yazoo City High School before transferring to Greenville Christian School where he flourished. He ended up as a three star recruit who accepted an offer to Southern Mississippi before decommitting before signing day with late offers from Lousiville and Mississippi State. He later selected Louisville.
Had a rotational role his first two years before working into a starting role and flourishing last season.
