Saturday Prospect Spotlight: Sun Devil Elite Prospect
Remember the name Jordyn Tyson as the star receiver will very much matter in this year's receiver class.

While today doesn’t give us the best slate of college football games across the full day, it does have some matchups very much worth out attention as Browns fans. We have Ty Simpson and No. 4 Alabama facing off with LaNorris Sellers and South Carolina. Fernando Mendoza and the No. 2 Hoosiers get the red-hot UCLA Bruins in Bloomington today. No. 8 Oklahoma welcomes in No. 13 Ole Miss, No. 15 Missouri travels to No. 10 Vanderbilt, and No. 3 Texas A&M travels to Death Valley for a matchup with No. 20 LSU. Again, not the elite day but pretty dang good. But most of these Saturdays are good the rest of the way in the heat of conference battles. Don’t you dare take one of these for granted.
Reminder: The Browns have TWO first round picks coming in this year's NFL Draft, each Saturday we will highlight a player worth watching with the Browns’ prospect preferences in mind! Obviously we will focus on the highest-ranked prospects this year because the Browns could have a wide range of outcomes for their pick, but we will expand beyond that scope at times.
It will be impossible to think about the 2026 Cleveland Browns without thinking about who their next quarterback selection could be so that will be a consistent theme of these spotlights throughout the year, but I promise we will branch out in other ways as well.
I thought for today’s focus, and in honor of the local Cleveland Cavaliers, we would spend some time on Cavs guard Jaylon Tyson’s brother. Jordyn is just one of the elite names in the whole class and is dominating the Big XII out at Arizona State. Let’s discuss the Sun Devils elite talent.

History
Tyson is from Allen, Texas where he spent that majority of him time at Allen High School. He was only a three-star recruit coming out of high school and rated as the 215th wide receiver in the 2022 class. He chose Colorado over a limited set of offers that included Colorado State and New Mexico.
He entered college at just 5’10” and 165 pounds but found immediate success with the Buffaloes in 2022 leading the team in receiving yards as a true freshman. He then entered the transfer portal upon the change to Deion Sanders as coach and landed at Arizona State.
Tyson has grown to 6’2” and north of 200 pounds and looks the part. He only played in three games his first year with the Sun Devils and took a redshirt due to injury. Then he burst onto the stage last year and earned Big XII Newcomer of the Year last season as well as First-Team All-Big XII. He’s on an All-American path this season.
