The GameDay Opening Drive 10/19: The Mud Bowl at Huntington Bank Field
Rainy, windy, and just plain nasty conditions as the Browns and Dolphins both seek their second win.

Hello there BFB faithful and I do not throw the word faithful around lightly there. Our beloved Cleveland Browns return for another matchup this week that has all o four attention dialed into the inner-dynamics of the team and whether or not they can rise to the challenge and show the fanbase they believe in the process and can get the job done. They host the Miami Dolphins today, who are also 1-5, in a game many perceive as one that has both coaches facing potential serious consequences if they lose.
While that remains to be seen, we at least know the vibes around the Browns have been rough this week, to say the least, and the team could use a strong performance today in front of the home fans to get that narrative set aside for a week or so.
The Browns are favored at home but will likely be without some key pieces on both sides including David Njoku, so this one has all the feelings of which team takes care of the ball best in the conditions and which team wants it most. Despite the weather, I’m thinking we learn plenty about both teams today.

High winds, rain throughout, and mild temperatures. According to the National Weather Service, there’s a 60% chance of rain, including thunderstorms, on Sunday afternoon on the lake, which then increases to 100% on Sunday night.
In addition, 18-22 mph winds are expected, including gusts touching 47 mph as well.
More specifically, the hourly breakdown shows a 100% chance of rain at 1 p.m. ET before dipping to 73% by 4 p.m. ET.
Steady winds of 20-21 mph could be blowing throughout Sunday’s game as well, which certainly won’t be advantageous for the offenses. Buckle up, folks.
