The Browns’ 2025 season has not produced the desired results. Maybe the outcomes are what some expected, but they’ve unfolded in a way that’s tough to swallow. They dropped a game in Week 1 they should have won, then ended up non-competitive late against the Ravens. Fans know this team is going to have some rough patches, but they just want them to play a smart, complimentary brand of football and take advantage of their opportunities. Through two games, we have yet to see that. Today brings a new chance. The Packers await.

If you’re attending the game live, you’re in for a treat. The franchise is honoring the 1985 team—the originators of the Dawg Pound theme—and it should be a fun trip down nostalgia lane for those involved.

Those teams in the 1980s were all grit and resolve and that is something today’s group should tap into if they can find it. The Packers are among the NFL’s best and a true NFC Super Bowl contender, so the Browns will have their hands full today. No better day to turn things around than today. It would go a long way.

It’s going to be quite warm in Huntington Bank Stadium today. The high is 84 with a slight chance of precipitation at 24%. Mostly sunny skies during the morning hours will become overcast in the afternoon. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. Winds out of the South at 10 to 20 mph.

The Browns/Packers history runs deep in the NFL’s roots. The two teams are league originals and had rich histories of winning NFL Championships in the 1950s and 1960s. The Browns dominated the 50s and the Packers the 60s as the two teams only met once for a Championship during that time. The Browns were the defending champions from 1965 and had to visit the Packers for the 1966 game and lost 23-12.

The Packers lead the all-time series 14-7 and have won the last three contests. Since the Browns return in 1999, the two sides have only met six times total and the Browns only win over the Packers came in 2005.
