"fire Stefanski now and send a message that this level of incompetence will not be tolerated. " Feel like I'm listening to Tony Grossi right now. Send a message to who Brad? The players? the players are playing poorly bc of Stefanski? I'm seriously confused by your logic.
What is more likely here?
- We have bad players at key positions due to bad personnel decisions & Stefanski isn't good enough to raise the tides.
-Or, we had good players playing poorly at key positions (Tackle, QB, WR)?
I really fail to see how firing Stefanski makes our tackles, WR, shitty QBs play better.
Not saying that it will but it’s a show a of accountability that has severely been lacking. Also, u do realize I’m presenting from both sides in this article, right?
Definitely both sides. Fire now? Fire later? (SMH). Why aren't you running the Browns, Brad? Sigh. Chess is more interesting than Browns boards. I'm out.
They should fire him now, and the primary reason is to get an early start on the hunt for a new coaching staff. There is invariably competition for the best candidates, as there are typically 6-8 firings each year- let's not lose out because we dragged our feet on the search process. BTW, the GM should be gone as well, with THAT search started first - and immediately.
I won’t speak for Brad. I’ll just say the all-22 analysis- for several years running now- is bottom of the barrel stuff. I’m not talking results. I’m talking play design, tendencies, etc. They’ve been very predictable. All this has been happening with different names at key positions AND position coaches. Hell, half the time I can call the play before the snap. Mental errors with various players throughout the years continue to happen.
I used to be a supporter of his but the body of evidence has grown to be almost insurmountable. He’s the one common denominator.
Would love to hear who we plan on replacing Stefanski with. We can be as doom and gloom as we want but if we replace a 2x COTY and still win 3 games next year, what then? I say give Stefanski/Berry their shot at a top 5 draft pick QB + 1st round WR and see what happens. Have we forgotten about the decade long hot potato head coaching changes between 2009-2019? Do we want another couple years of Chudz, Pettine, Hugh Jackson, and Freddie Kitchens?
All those things are fine but they are bad in all the ways that coaching matters. They make mistakes in key moments every single game and most of the mistakes would be mitigated by better coaching. You see teams with a limited roster and rebuilding every year that find ways to overcome a talent deficiency. Outside of 5 games in 2023, this coaching staff has not done it.

Disagree. I do not think he should be fired at all.
We knew this was coming this year. We have a limited team that can only win a very specific way.
Ball controlled offense. Great defense. Great special teams.
If you have been a big disappointment and we have not been playing complementary football. That’s why we are losing. Not because of a limited offense.
I mean… we scored 17 against the jets in the first half. No turnovers. That should be enough to win f the D and ST do their parts.
