The Opening Drive 3/16: Monday Mock Extended Thoughts
Following the first week of free agency I got the itch to make some picks.
We’re now a full week into free agency and as we know, the pickings are slim. The remaining names are mostly names that either have that veteran label where getting production for the cost demand is risky, players at destined for the bottom of the roster, or veteran who want to wait until the summer months. Things will be quiet for the most part through the next 45 days.
Given the movement of that last week, though, I did get the itch to see how the Browns roster would look following a full slate of selections and free agency. In this quick version of a Browns draft plan, the focus remains as clear as before: add offensive firepower early, stabilize the offensive line for the future, be opportunistic in the secondary, and fill depth across the roster with developmental talent.
Let’s walk through how the board fell.
