Todd Monken Introduction Harps on Development, Accountability, Adaptability, and Much More
The Browns new head coach opened up about his history and plans for the future of the franchise.

Todd Monken addressed the media for the first time since being named the 19th full-time head coach in Browns history, with GM Andrew Berry and team leadership present to formally introduce him. Jimmy Haslam and every important part of the leadership group were also on hand.
Andrew Berry opened the session with the media, noting that Monken “stood head and shoulders above the rest,” noting his history and his track record of developing players.
Monken’s opening statement was all about thanking those who matter most to him, and in the midst of that time he got emotional and passionate, even giving us the first curse word, “shit,” as he started talking about his mom and dad, brother, college roommates “who drove up to be here today,” his wife, and a few others. Quite importantly, he reminded us that he knows the Haslams brought him into the organization to turn things around, as they “expect a kick-ass football team… they want to become a winning franchise that our fanbase can be proud of. My job is to prove it every single day.”
