Training Camp Notes: Scouting Observations from a Week in Berea

What a long week of Training Camp. The heat was heavy, storms knocked out power for thousands in Northeast Ohio as it shifted the team inside, and the bodies started to fall out of the lineup as camp injuries stack up.

However, the team feels ready to go and excited for the opportunity on Saturday. We will get to see plenty of new faces and some bread crumbs about what this offense and defense will look like schematically come September 8th.

Let’s dive in with all the pieces of information I was able to pull from my time in Berea.

Offense

• Deshaun Watson looks like he hasn’t skipped a beat physically. The arm seems fine to me and the full-field throws are flying without any issue. He seems ready to go.
