The Browns had some big news hit with running back Quinshon Judkins just moments ago, but we will hold that for tomorrow’s discussion. For now, the Browns are still in Philadephia and wrapped up their joint practice sessions with the Eagles this afternoon. The first session was split down the middle in results but leaned in the Eagles direction with their defense having more success.

Shedeur Sanders remained sidelined for team, and throwing portions of the day, and Kenny Pickett didn’t compete in any 11-on-11 sessions as both are on track to miss the game. Things can change from now until then but the situation looks very similar to last weekend where Sanders took three quarters of reps, which will be Dillon Gabriel this week, and Tyler Huntley will finish the game. Joe Flacco continues to dominate the first-team reps overall.

It was a shorter session than yesterday and it was not fully “live” with tackling, but there were a few highlights of note and some thoughts from those on-site taking in the action.

The day started right into team sessions with 11-on-11 instead of jumping into 1-on-1s so things picked up quick in the low red zone session. Flacco was with the first-team offense right away and they missed an opportunity to Harold Fannin Jr. as he dropped a touchdown ball on a post. Gabriel then went in with the 2nd group but they were unable to get into the end zone.

Denzel Ward made some nice plays on the day, including a breakup in the corner of the end zone against DeVonta Smith.
